Finally done the deed, after watching all the action taking place out of casting distance I have my hands on a Hobie Revo 11. Managed to get a black eye loading it on car!!...told my lad at the other end to flip it, he flipped it but not the way I expected, I got a face full of rudder!. The wife arrived home and nearly done the other eye, she wasn't impressed to see the new 11 ft yellow coffee table in the middle of the living room. As for the dog, after the initial barking he hopped aboard.......... . BTF any ideas on this grey 4'' piece?, it was rattling around inside. . Can't wait to get it wet.

I got mine from leisure marine/act marine in JBR. It has the ultimate kayak(is really more of a boat) upstairs for sale, the pro angler 14. Also there is a yellow outback in HQ which is fantastic, was tempted but opted for my lighter model. Can load it easily on the car, also can carry it solo up to 2nd floor!! Took it out today, first capsized it a few time to practice re-boarding, very easy to get back on. Took a couple of lures around the palm for a few hours, no takers but plenty of exercise. Out tomorrow at dawn to try again.

If I weighted a little less than a Hummer, might consider one myself ;-) looks brill - thought of getting out and around the palm sounds excellent!!!

Also need to sort a car first - since it won't go on the Hertz Mazda 2 ;-)

Looking good Dom..... nice yellow target for me to aim at Tony, it has to be the best option.... they take sails, electric motors and have peddles these days !!!!! Getting about on one is a doddle...although I'm not going to abandon my dinghy; which is smaller than some of these kayaks !
