Welcome to the forum William...or do you get called Bill ?
Seems the kayak section is growing. I can see the attraction for the versatility and raedy access; especially with so little public shore access for angling.
The experienced kay anglers here get some incredible catches......so no doubt they will have plenty to offer you on advice
Loof forward to reading about your angling adventures...tight lines Nick

Thanks Dom ........... By the way great king fish from the kayak , i am still dreaming of catching one.......... Could you please help me on the specs of the Rod you are using on the kayak or what do you recommend to use have a nice day In a kayak I would recommend a heavy spinning rod or light boat rod, 6-12lb test curve. I have two 8ft rods, I would recommend shorter,5.5-6ft max. A high capacity reel loaded with 15lb test minimum. (I use 20lb mono, many prefer braid). You can troll a diving lure (15-30ft) when on the move, you also troll or drift dead bait(drifting live bait if available works well). Persistence is the key, you will have more blank days than fish days if just after kings, but they are worth the wait, when your lure/bait is hit you forget the previous hours of fish-less peddling/paddling. Best of luck.
